Yvonne Bauer (born March 29, 1977 ) is a German media manager and publisher .

Life

Yvonne Bauer is the daughter of the publisher Heinz Bauer and his wife Gudrun. From 1997 to 2002 she studied German in Bamberg . Then completed a traineeship within the Ganske publishing group at Hoffmann and Campe , where she worked as an editor .

After a year in the marketing of the Bauer Media Group , she switched to sales in 2006, where she had been part of a working group since autumn 2006, which, after the dismissal of the previous managing director Bernd Baginski, temporarily headed Bauer Vertriebs KG. Since April 2007 she was the managing director there. Yvonne Bauer has been a member of the executive board of the German media company Bauer Media Group since June 2009, of which she has been the publisher since 2010.

Private

She has two older and one younger sister. Her brother died of leukemia at the age of five . All the sisters work in the family business. She has been married to a TV producer and journalist since 2014 and has two children. According to the Forbes list , Yvonne Bauer's net worth was estimated at around 2.9 billion US dollars in spring 2019; it ranks 729 on the Forbes list of the richest people in the world.
