Zabihollah Bachschizade , also Haji Bachschi ( Persian ذبیح‌الله بخشی‌زاده, * around 1932; † January 2012 in Tehran ), was a popular member of the Iranian Hezbollah and one of the founding members of Ansare Hezbollah and a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard . He is considered a prominent radical Shiite Khomeini supporter in Iran and has often been linked as a suspect in the chain murders .

Zabihollah Bachschi is considered the leader of the Iranian Hezbollah and therefore likes to appear at mass events such as al-Quds Day , which always takes place on the last Friday of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan in Tehran, or the Ashura funeral ceremonies and rallies on the anniversary of Khomeini's death as the leading figure of the radical Islamists Supporters of the Velayat-e Faqih, who are subordinate to the revolutionary leader Ali Khamenei , display Hezbollahi in Basichi uniform and with the Hezbollah yellow flag as a loud motivator of the masses. Among other things, he is said to have been a brigadier of the Revolutionary Guard and instructor of the Hezbollah garrison in East Tehran. He is said to have trained Bosnian guerrillas on behalf of the al-Quds unit in Iran during the Bosnian War . He was listed as a candidate in the run-up to the Iranian presidential election in 2005 , but was not approved by the Guardian Council .
