Zbigniew Matuszczak (born September 21, 1962 in Biłgoraj ) is a Polish politician , local politician, lawyer and since 2007 member of the Sejm in the VI . Electoral term.

He finished his law studies at the Maria Curie Skłodowska University in Lublin . From 1998 to 2006 he sat for two terms on the Chełm City Council , and until 2002 he was the city ​​president's representative . He later became the assistant director of a construction company. From 2006 to 2007 he was a member of the Sejmik of the Lublin Voivodeship .

He is a member of the Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej (Federation of Democratic Left - SLD). In the 2007 parliamentary elections , he was elected to the Sejm for the constituency of Chełm on the list of Lewica i Demokraci (Left and Democrats - LiD) with 10,351 votes. He is a member of the Sejm Commissions for Health and Infrastructure.

On April 22, 2008 he became a member of the newly founded Lewica parliamentary group .
