Zdeněk Hoření (* 9. February 1930 in Frýdštejn , Jablonec nad Nisou District , Liberec Region ) is a former Czechoslovak journalist and politician of the Communist Party KSČ ( Communist Party of Czechoslovakia ) , among others 1983-1989 editor in chief of the KSC central organ Rudé právo was.

Life

Zdeněk Hoření became editor of the KSČ central organ Rudé právo in 1954 and was the foreign correspondent of Rudé právo in Moscow between 1962 and 1968 . After briefly deputy editor-in-chief of Tribuna magazine in 1969, he was deputy editor-in-chief of Rudé právo between 1969 and 1983 . In 1970 he was awarded the Czechoslovakian Journalism Prize (Československá novinářská cena) .
