Zdravka Ambric

Zdravka Ambrić (born March 2, 1980 in Kirchheim unter Teck ) is a German opera, song and concert singer of Croatian descent with a mezzo-soprano voice .

Life

Ambrić completed her vocal studies at the University of Music Würzburg with Ingeborg Hallstein and Leandra Overmann with a diploma in concert and music theater. At Overmann, she completed postgraduate studies, which the artist completed with a concert diploma. The mezzo-soprano subsequently performed at the State Opera Hanover a . a. under the musical direction of Konrad Junghänel and Johannes Harneit . Ambrić performed at the Edinburgh International Festival with the Hanoverian production Al gran sole carico d'amore by Luigi Nono . At the Stadttheater Bremerhaven she appeared in the roles of Carmen, Ulrica, Azucena, Herodias, Pythia in Melusine by Aribert Reimann and Dalila and as Auntie in Peter Grimes by Benjamin Britten . She also played at the Staatstheater Oldenburg a . a. the Azucena in Verdi's Il trovatore , the Gremgerde in the Walküre and at the Wuppertal Opera House the Ulrica in the masked ball . She also sang at the opera stages in Kiel, Magdeburg and Münster.

The mezzo-soprano works as a freelance opera and concert specialist.

In 2008 the Richard Wagner Association in Bremen awarded the artist a grant.
