Tithe barn (Bad Orb)
The tithe barn in Bad Orb , a spa town in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse , was built in the 17th century. The former tithe barn on Burgringstrasse is a protected cultural monument .
Kurmainz bought the castle district with the castle mill and a house in 1621. A new tithe barn was erected at right angles to it , which was used to store the fruit tithe . The two-storey saddle roof building made of sandstone with corner blocks has two large, arched gates and a row of windows on the upper floor.
After the fundamental renovation, the building serves as the guest house .
