Journal of Thuringian History
The Journal of Thuringian History (ZThG) is a historical scientific journal . It publishes essays and book reviews for the area of Thuringian regional history and has been published since 2007 (volume 61) under this title by Ph. CW Schmidt publishing house in Neustadt an der Aisch . The publisher is the Association for Thuringian History , which was re-established in 1990, together with the Historical Commission for Thuringia .
In addition to the magazine, supplements on special topics (formerly: supplement volumes ) appear at irregular intervals .
history
The previous magazine was the magazine of the Association for Thuringian History and Antiquity from 1854 (Volume 1) to 1943 (Volume 45). It was self-published by the Association for Thuringian History and Archeology , which existed from 1852 to 1950. From 1992 (volume 46) to 2006 the title was the journal of the Association for Thuringian History (ZVThG).
