content

In the future there will be a large number of people with supernatural abilities (ESP), which should therefore also be used for the common good. But some of these particularly gifted people abuse their power to commit crimes. To deal with the supernaturally gifted criminals, the Japanese government founded the organization BABEL ( Base of Backing ESP Laboratory ). This takes care of people with supernatural abilities, searches for them, trains them and protects them.

50 years later, BABEL has three gifted at level 7, the highest attainable. These are called The Children and are all three young girls. BABEL now has the task of educating Kaoru Akashi, Shiho Sannomiya and Aoi Nogami, developing their skills and, above all, preventing them from using their skills against other people.
