Zhang Jingchu
Zhang Jingchu ( Chinese 張靜 初 / 张静 初 , Pinyin Zhāng Jìngchū ; born February 2, 1980 in Fujian ) is a Chinese actress who also starred in western productions.
life and career
Zhang Jingchu grew up in a rural area. She studied at the Central Theater College in Beijing . She completed her studies in 1997. She also learned the English language to improve her income opportunities.
After graduating, Jingchu first had minor roles in television series and commercials . In 2005 she achieved her international breakthrough with the films The Seven Swords and Jade Warriors . In 2005 Time Magazine considered her one of the upcoming Asian heroes. In 2006 she starred alongside Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker in Rush Hour 3 .
