Zhang Meixia (born January 20, 1991 ) is a Chinese long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Zhang Meixia gained her first international experience at the 2014 Half Marathon World Championships in Copenhagen , where she finished 50th in 1:14:24 h. At the end of September, she took part in the 1500-meter run for the first time in the Asian Games in Incheon , South Korea , where she was eleventh. The following year, she reached fifth place in the 10,000 meter run at the Asian Championships in Wuhan and did not finish at the Summer Universiade in Gwangju . She also started in the half marathon and came in tenth there. 2018 she won the Tokyo Marathon in a personal best of 2:33:02 h tenth place and was at the Asian Games in Jakarta in the marathon in 2:39:41 h Seventh.

She graduated from Tianjin Pedagogical University .
