Zhang Ouying

Zhang Ouying ( Chinese  張歐影 , Pinyin Zhāng Ōuyǐng ; born November 2, 1975 in Zhangjiakou , Hebei , People's Republic of China ; † December 1, 2018 in San Diego , California , United States ) was a Chinese soccer player .

Ouying took in 1999 , 2003 and 2007 at the FIFA World Cup of Women and in 2000 and 2004 at the Olympic Summer Games in part. At the 1999 World Cup, she finished second with the Chinese women's soccer team.

Ouying married an American in 2006 and moved to the United States after finishing her professional career.

From 2010 to 2012 she coached numerous teams at the San Diego Futbol Academy in Carmel Valley . She then coached teams for the San Diego Soccer Club and was often referred to as "Coach O". She died on December 1, 2018 at the age of 43 from complications from cancer.
