Zhang Rui ( Chinese張瑞; Pinyin Zhāng Ruì ; born January 25, 1979 in Liaoning ) is a table tennis player from Hong Kong of Chinese origin. With the team she was runner- up in 2004 and 2006 .
successes
The Hong Kong Chinese took part in a total of seven world championships , with the team becoming vice world champion in 2004 and 2006 . In 2005 she won bronze at the same event with Tie Yana .
At the World Cup she won bronze (again with the team) in 2007 and 2009. She was able to win several Pro Tour tournaments individually, including the Japan, Swedish and Brazil Open. In 2005, the selection became Hong Kong's Asian champions. At the Pro Tour Grand Finals she was able to achieve 3rd place in doubles in 2003 and 2007.
At the end of 2009, Zhang Rui announced the end of her international career.
