The citadel of the Hồ dynasty ( Vietnamese Thành nhà Hồ ) with the former imperial city was on the west bank of the Sông Mã in the Vietnamese province of Thanh Hóa .

The central area of ​​the citadel was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011 . The World Heritage area covers 20 ha of the total area of ​​the citadel of 140 ha.
