Ziwu Street

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Ziwu Street ( Sino  子午道 , Pinyin Zǐwǔ dào , W.-G. Tzu-wu Tao ) is an ancient Shu Road . It is a north-south connection through the Qin Ling Mountains between Guanzhong and the Hanzhong region (i.e. the Hanzhong plain ). 子 used to mean "north" and 午 "south", hence the name.
