Zobue is a place in northwest Mozambique .

Zobue is located in the Moatize district ( Tete province ) on the border with Malawi . It is 1200 m high. Compared to the customs station of Zobue is the Malawian district capital Mwanza .

Economy and Infrastructure
The continuously paved road that connects Zobue and Mwanza leads north to Blantyre in Malawi and south to Tete and Zimbabwe's capital Harare .
During the Portuguese colonial period , cotton was grown extensively in the area, which led to a decline in the number of wild animals. Today around Zobue, maize is grown almost exclusively for personal use.
Goats are kept as pets, rarely cattle, pigs or chickens. In addition to the street market, which sells goods for legal and illegal export to Malawi and Zimbabwe, prostitution is widespread here.
