Zoetis, Inc. is a US manufacturer of veterinary drugs and vaccines for pets and farm animals. Two thirds of sales come from the livestock sector. Measured in terms of total sales in the industry, Zoetis is currently (as of 2012) the world market leader with a share of around 20%. Founded in 1952, the company is based in Parsippany , New Jersey .

Until 2013 Zoetis was a subsidiary of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer . In early 2013, Pfizer floated its animal health business on the New York Stock Exchange , which was the largest initial public offering since Facebook . Since Pfizer sold its remaining 83% stake in June 2013, Zoetis has been independent and has been included in the S&P 500 stock market index .

In 2016 the company's headquarters were relocated from Florham Park to Parsippany-Troy Hills Township (New Jersey) .
