Zofia Dzierżyńska
Zofia Julia Sigizmundovna Dzierżyńska née Muszkat , (born December 4, 1882 in Warsaw , Congress Poland , Russian Empire ; † February 27, 1968 in Moscow ) was a Polish social democratic , later communist politician ( SDKPiL ). She came from a Jewish family, was a childhood friend of Rosa Luxemburg and married to Feliks Dzierżyński . She gave birth to her only son Janek on June 23, 1911 in the women's prison "Serbia" . After a six-month stay at the Soviet diplomatic mission in Bern from 1918-1919, she lived in Moscow from 1920.
