Zuzana Navarová
Zuzana Navarová (born June 18, 1959 in Hradec Králové , † December 7, 2004 in Prague ) was a Czech singer and composer .
Zuzana Navarová began her musical career with the group "Nerez" in 1980. In 1992 she started the solo project "Caribe". Since she had studied the languages Spanish and Czech at the Charles University in Prague , she repeatedly combined elements from both languages in her texts, as well as from Arabic.
She wrote the soundtrack for the animation film " Řeči, řeči, řeči ... " by Michaela Pavlátová , which was nominated in 1993 for an Oscar .
In the 1990s she was also committed to the music of the Roma, so she produced two CDs by the Roma singer Věra Bílá .
In 2004, at the age of 45, Zuzana Navarová died after suffering from severe cancer.
