Zwei Menschen is a German silent film melodrama from 1919 by and with Fern Andra .

action

Fern married the actor Karras. This marriage does not have a good star, as it is massively burdened by their strong jealousy. She makes him one scene after the other and finally the relationship ends in separation, despite having a son.

Fern now runs a gaming room to support himself and the boy. Karras, on the other hand, begins to drink excessively and one day demands his son back. When his ex-wife refuses, he goes to court, sues and wins. When he tries to take the boy with him, the boy refuses and Fern shoots her former husband. Ultimately, however, the boy succeeds in reconciling his parents again.

Production notes

Two people was 1733 feet long. The information about the premiere diverges. Sources name April 1919 with Berlin's Marble House as the premiere location and July 1, 1919 with the Munich cinema.
