Zwei wie Paul und Caroline is a three-part German television miniseries from 1993.

action

Paul is a self-made man who has pushed himself upstairs, Caroline comes from a wealthy family. Both live as lovers in a magnificent apartment in Berlin, where arguments keep coming up because of their different origins.

They are a couple, even if they are very different. He's a health fanatic, she doesn't care about cholesterol. He loves nature, she loves art. The stories from the everyday life of the young couple revolve around the age-old themes of love, jealousy, obstinacy, adaptation, noise, reconciliation. During an argument, Paul learns that they owe their shared apartment only to Caroline's father and his good connections and moves out.
