Nora Jensen (born June 24, 1965 ) is a German actress .

Life

Jensen is a daughter of the painter, draftsman and caricaturist Ole Jensen . She studied acting with Marlise Ludwig in Berlin and in Geraldine Baron's Actor's Studio in Los Angeles. In 1987 she made her television debut in the ARD series Harald and Eddi and played in the Hamburger Kammerspiele under the direction of Georg-Albrecht Eckle . In her career she has remained loyal to both the easy and the serious subject. She played with the Friends of Italian Opera , in the Stadttheater Chur and also for a year en-suite in the Berlin cabaret theater Die Stachelschweine . Since 2007 she has also been playing at the Theater des Ostens together with Vera Oelschlegel and Dieter Wien .

On television, Jensen played in the crime novels Polizeiruf 110 and Wolffs Revier as well as in the series Guten Morgen, Mallorca and Schloss Einstein . The director Oskar Roehler shot the movie Gentleman with Nora Jensen . She has two daughters and was married to the writer Matthias Eckoldt .
