Zygmunt Ajdukiewicz
Zygmunt Ajdukiewicz , also Sigismund Ajdukiewicz (* 1861 in Witkowice near Tarnobrzeg , † 1917 in Vienna ), was a Polish painter.
Life
Ajdukiewicz studied art at the Vienna Academy from 1880 to 1882 and in Munich from 1883 to 1885 . From 1885 he lived and worked in Vienna. He mainly painted portraits, genre scenes and history paintings . The twelve-part history cycle " Tadeusz Kościuszko " is one of his best-known works . He was the cousin of the painter Tadeusz Ajdukiewicz .
