Bo Hildring Martin Lundström (born May 30, 1918 in Tvärliden, Norsjö municipality ; † June 30, 2016 ) was a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Lundström, who started for IFK Umeå , took second place over 18 km at the Svenska Skidspelen in Sundsvall in 1947 . At the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz , he won the gold medal over 18 km and with the Swedish relay. In the same year, as in the previous year, he finished second in the 18 km run at the Svenska Skidspelen and won the 18 km run at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lake Placid in 1950 , he won the gold medal with the relay. Two years later he was third in the season at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo . In 1955 he took third place and in 1956 tenth place in the Wasalauf . In Swedish championships he won twice over 15 km (1948, 1952), once over 30 km (1948) and three times with the relay of IFK Umeå (1946-1948).
