Series A 1958/59

The Serie A 1959-60 was the 28th season in the top Italian football -Spielklasse of Lords. It began on September 21, 1958 and ended on June 7, 1959. As promoters, Atalanta Bergamo and US Palermo from Serie B were added.

The season as champions ended Juventus Turin and became the successor to AC Milan . Juventus qualified for the European Cup . Inter Milan and AS Roma qualified for the exhibition cities cup . ACF Fiorentina secured participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup of the following year through Coppa Italia . In the series B had to Palermo, descend US Alessandria and Genoa .
