Gino Pivatelli (born March 27, 1933 in Sanguinetto ) is a former Italian football player and coach .

Career

Pivatelli was the top scorer in Serie A in 1955/56 as a player for FC Bologna . He played for AC Milan and won the European Cup with this club in 1962/63 under coach Nereo Rocco . Italy's national coach Lajos Czeizler accepted him into the national team in 1954 . Pivatelli took part for the Squadra Azzurra , which he belonged to between 1954 and 1958, in the 1954 World Cup in Switzerland , where they were eliminated in the group stage.
