Series A 1975/76

The Serie A 1976/77 was the 45th season in the top Italian football -Spielklasse of Lords. It began on October 3, 1976 and ended on May 22, 1977. The CFC Genoa 1893 , the US Catanzaro and US Foggia from the B series were added to the list.

Juventus Turin won the championship , becoming the successor to AC Turin . By winning the championship, Juventus was allowed to take part in the 1977/78 European Cup. For the UEFA Cup the following year, the AC Turin, qualified ACF Fiorentina , Inter Milan and Lazio Rome . The AC Milan qualified as winning the Coppa Italia for the 1977-78 European Cup Winners' Cup . Relegated to Serie B had to Sampdoria Genoa , Catanzaro and Cesena . The SSC Napoli got a point deducted because of fan riots.
