The Serie A 1995/96 was the 64th season in the top Italian football -Spielklasse of Lords. It started on August 30, 1995 and ended on May 31, 1996 with the handover of the Scudetto, the Italian championship trophy, to AC Milan . A total of 18 teams took part in the championship, 14 of which played in Serie A last season, and the four promoted teams from Serie B, Piacenza Calcio , Udinese Calcio , Vicenza Calcio and Atalanta Bergamo also played for the championship. Juventus started the season as defending champions. The top scorer was Igor Protti from AS Bari and Giuseppe Signori from Lazio Rome with 24 goals each.
