Carnoidea are a superfamily of Acalyptratae flies.

Phylogeny

Carnoidea may not be a monophyletic group. One molecular analysis found that its constituent families are more closely related to members of other superfamilies, such as Braulidae to Drosophilidae (superfamily Ephydroidea).[1]
