Ozark Christian College (OCC) is a private evangelical Christian college in Joplin, Missouri. It is affiliated with the Restoration Movement of Christian churches and churches of Christ. The vision of Ozark Christian College is to glorify God by evangelizing the lost and edifying Christians worldwide. The mission of Ozark Christian College is to train men and women for Christian service as a degree-granting institution of biblical higher education. Emphasis is given to vocational preparation for preaching ministers, missionaries, worship ministers, youth ministers and children's ministers. Biblical and practical training is also provided for those who will serve in the church in non-vocational roles.

Academics

As an institution of biblical higher education, Ozark Christian College prepares students to leave and serve in the church other Christian ministries. A dual degree program with Missouri Southern State University lets students earn two bachelor's degrees—one from each college—to serve in a variety of fields. OCC's hybrid master's program offers Christian ministry training at the graduate level. Ozark also offers an entire undergraduate degree online.

Accreditation

Ozark was initially accredited by the American Association of Bible Colleges (now the Association for Biblical Higher Education) in 1988. It is also accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

Athletics

Ozark's varsity sports teams are known as the Ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20). Athletics include basketball, cross country, men's soccer, and women's volleyball. Varsity teams are members of the Association of Christian College Athletics, the Midwest Christian College Conference, and the National Christian College Athletic Association Division II. Non-varsity, intramural sports include Ultimate Frisbee, futsal, volleyball, and basketball. Ozark's Multi-Purpose Building provides a full-size basketball/volleyball floor, indoor walking/running area, weight room, cardio room, locker rooms, and theater seating. The campus also includes outdoor basketball goals, tennis courts, a sand volleyball pit, and a soccer field.
