The Cheetah Girls One World (The Cheetah Girls 3: One World) is the sequel to the highly successful Disney Channel Original Movie, The Cheetah Girls 2, and the third film in The Cheetah Girls series. It is scheduled for release in August 2008. [1] The film will allow viewers to vote on certain components of the film from December 31, 2007 to February 1, 2008, similar to High School Musical 2. [2] The film will begin production in January. [2]

Production

According to Disney, the plot will involve the Cheetah Girls going to India to star in a Bollywood production. [3] Like The Cheetah Girls 2, it will be filmed on location in the foreign country. Adrienne Bailon confirmed that all of the girls have signed on for the film and are currently looking for costume and makeup ideas. In another interview with Hollywood.tv, Adrienne Bailon said that the movie would start filming on January 6, 2008 and that the movie would be filmed over a three month period. She also stated that "all of the original cast will be back".[4] However, later on, Raven-Symoné confirmed that she will not return for this film because she is busy with her fourth studio album and movies such as College Road Trip and Further Adventures In Babysitting.[5] Lynn Whitfield will also not return due to Raven not being in the movie.

The film has featured a "play your part" poll on Disney Channel and will begin filming in Udaipur, India in January. [6] One World is expected to be the title of the Bollywood film the girls are competing to be in.

Music

According to The Cheetah Girls, some of the songs for this film will be made from music that was dropped in the production of their latest studio album, TCG. Adrienne Bailon said on Mi TRL that they all get a solo song in the movie. Adrienne also reported that the movie will star another disney channel star in certain parts of the movie as a special treat.
