Hey, everypeoples. I'm Adam D. Selver, better known by my internet alias, Crazyswordman. I hail from New Jersey (even though I hate it, I'd rather move back to NYC), but I go to school at Washington University in St. Louis.

Current Project

I am currently in the project of bringing the Final Fantasy VI character articles up to the "good" standard. I would appreciate any and all help. I am adding references and condensing paragraphs, and I plan to add a bit more info. I'd like this to be a community effort, though, and as such, I'd appreciate any and all suggestions. And no, Merging the articles does not count. The List of Final Fantasy VI characters article is unnecessarily long, and needs to be broken up.

My Wikipedian philosophy

I tend to lean inclusionist, however, I do not see everything worthy of its own article. This usually applies to obscure topics, websites, and memes without any notability. As long as something complies with WP:NPOV (which is easy, we've all written objective summaries as early as Middle School), WP:V (using WP:RS, but we all have different opinions on what is reliable and what is not. For example, a Fox News article may be considered reliable by Wiki standards, but definitely not by a liberal Democrat such as myself), and WP:NOR (just cite your source. It's not that hard), it merits a blurb or mention here. Something merits an article if it meets ALL of the following characteristics:

  1. It has some form of notability, any form will do.
  2. It is too long to be mentioned in a blurb, or it makes a list unnecessarily long.
  3. It can be referenced by WP:RS

I usually try to aviod votiong Delete on AfDs, and usually vote to Merge, Keep, or Transwiki. I just don't like seeing other people's hard work ridiculed like this by people who use words such as "silly" and "nonsense." If I used those words, I'd sound stuck up, and I don't want to sound that way.

As far as Vandalism goes, I don't like it (who would?). I don't run around reverting vandalism, though. I have better things to do with my time than be a policeman (plus, it's not fun). If I see vandalism, though, I'll happily revert it. I want to serve as proof that not everyone who hates vandalism is a deletionist.
