Charlotte Hudson (born Laura Katherine Charlotte Hudson 4 January 1972)[citation needed] is a British television presenter. Hudson was born in Sheffield.[citation needed] Her brother is actor Robert Hudson, most notable for playing PC "Yorkie" Smith in The Bill from 1984 to 1989.

Education and Early Career

After attending Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, she started in television co-presenting Watchdog with Anne Robinson. She has also appeared as an actress in various UK TV shows (see her CV at her management site). She regularly appears as a guest on Big Brother's Little Brother and Big Brother's Big Mouth. She also provided the in-game voiceover for ITV1 quizshow Divided in summer 2009. Since 2010, she has been narrating the ITV1 dating show Dinner Date.

Current Career

She presents the Sky One television series Brainiac: History Abuse, a spin-off from the award-winning Brainiac: Science Abuse. She can still be seen in the original Science Abuse series hosting the "I Can Do Science, Me" segment.

She is now one half of comedy sketch double act Two Left Hands with comedian Leila Hackett, performing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2007.

Hudson can also be seen appearing in the comedy sketch show Bruiser alongside the likes of Mitchell & Webb, Olivia Colman, Martin Freeman, and Matthew Holness.

Fun Fact

She is also known to be a keen follower of the football club Sheffield Wednesday.[citation needed]
