Untitled

Os Mutantes is the debut album by the Brazilian tropicalia band Os Mutantes. The album was originally released in 1968 and reissued in 1992 on Polydor Records.

The album was influenced by traditional Brazilian music styles, as well as American bands such as The Beach Boys and Bob Dylan, and British bands like The Beatles and Pink Floyd. Despite not gaining popularity in Western culture, Os Mutantes later influenced bands and artists such as Nirvana, Beck, David Byrne, Kevin Barnes, and Stereolab.[citation needed]
