(1207) Ostenia is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on November 15, 1931 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory at the University of Heidelberg .

The asteroid is named after the German amateur astronomer Hans Osten .
