(1257) Móra is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on August 8, 1932 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory at the University of Heidelberg .

The asteroid is named after the Hungarian astronomer Károly Móra .
