(1785) Worm is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 15 February 1941 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at Heidelberg State Observatory King chair of the University of Heidelberg was discovered.

The asteroid is named after the German astronomer Karl Wurm .
