(1982) Cline ( 1975 VA ) is an asteroid of the main belt , the American US from November 4, 1975 astronomer Eleanor Helin at Palomar Observatory was discovered.
The asteroid was named in the 1970s after Edwin Lee Cline, a vehicle developer and friend of Eleanor Helins.
