(236111) Wolfgangbüttner is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on September 7, 2005 by Martin Fiedler from the Astroclub Radebeul eV at the Adolph Diesterweg observatory in Radebeul .

The asteroid was named on July 3, 2012 after an employee of the public observatory Adolph Diesterweg, Wolfgang Büttner (1905-1998).
