(29329) Knobelsdorff is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on October 5, 1994 by the German astronomer Freimut Börngen at the Thuringian state observatory in Tautenburg ( IAU code 033) in Thuringia .

The asteroid was named after the German painter and architect Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff (1699–1753), who strongly influenced the appearance of the royal cities of Berlin and Potsdam through his designs .
