(4468) Pogrebetskij is a main belt asteroid that was discovered on September 24, 1976 by Nikolai Stepanowitsch Tschernych at the Crimean Observatory .
The asteroid was named after the Ukrainian mountaineer Mikhail Timofeevich Pogrebetskij (1892-1956).
