(6075) Zajtsev is an asteroid of the main belt discovered on April 1, 1976 by Nikolai Stepanowitsch Tschernych at the Crimean Observatory .

The asteroid was named after Alexander Zaitsev, the chief scientist of the Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of RAS. Under his direction, observations of the asteroid (4179) Toutatis with the 70-meter radio telescope in Evpatorija and the 100-meter radio telescope Effelsberg were carried out in December 1992 .
