(6354) Vangelis is an asteroid of the main belt , which on April 3, 1934 by the Belgian astronomer Eugene Delporte at the Royal Observatory in Uccle was discovered.
The asteroid was named on November 7, 1995 after the Greek musician and composer Vangelis Papathanassiou .
