National team

Bogdán played a total of seven times for the Hungarian U-21 national team. For the friendly against Belgium on November 14, 2009 he was in the senior squad for the first time, but was not used. He finally made his debut on June 3, 2011 in a friendly against Luxembourg under coach Sándor Egervári , who had coached Vasas Budapest 's first team when Bogdán was still playing for their amateur team. Bogdán played in a few other friendly and qualifying matches for the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 European Championship , but mostly had to let Gábor Király go first. After Hungary qualified for the 2016 European Championship, Bogdan was only the fourth goalkeeper behind Király, Dénes Dibusz and Péter Gulácsi and thus missed the European Championship.
