Dénes Dibusz (born November 16, 1990 in Pécs ) is a Hungarian football goalkeeper . The 188 cm tall goalkeeper has been playing for the Hungarian national football team since October 2014 . He has been under contract with the Hungarian record champions Ferencváros Budapest since 2014 , with whom he won the double in 2016 , the cup in 2017 and the championship in Hungary again in 2019.

Career

society

Dibusz played for his hometown club Pécsi Mecsek FC from 2002 to 2014 , initially in the youth and from 2008 in the first team that played in the Hungarian second division . After he was loaned to third division club Barcsi SC for the 2009/10 season, he became a regular goalkeeper from the second day of the season in the 2010/11 season and rose with his team at the end of the season as the second division champions of the West season in the first division . In his first first division season he was in all 30 games in goal and seven times without conceding a goal. As the twelfth-placed team, the club was able to keep the class. Also the following season in which he was missing only one game, the club finished twelfth and again he remained seven times without conceding a goal.

His achievements sparked the interest of the Hungarian record champions Ferencváros Budapest and after 10 games in the 2013/14 season he moved to the capital. Ferencváros hadn't won a title since 2004. However, under the new coach Thomas Doll , who took over the office in December 2013, the club continued its old achievements. Initially, Dibusz was only used in 13 games, but in doing so he helped ensure that the club qualified third for the first qualifying round for the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League . After they were able to eliminate the Maltese cup finalist Sliema Wanderers in the first round , they failed in the second round at the Croatian cup winner HNK Rijeka . In the championship season 2014/15 he was used in all 30 games and was able to keep his goal clean 17 times. He had a large share in the runner-up. He also won the cup with Ferencváros by beating Master Videoton FC 4-0 - for the Budapesters the first cup victory since 2004. In July 2015 he also won the Supercup against Master Videoton. Ferencváros drew level with Debreceni Vasutas SC in the number of Supercup victories . As runners-up, they were also qualified for the 1st qualifying round for the 2015/16 UEFA Europa League , which Ferencváros survived against the Dutch first division relegated Go Ahead Eagles Deventer , who had received the qualification place via the fair play rating. In the next round, however, Ferencváros failed at the Bosnian runner-up FK Željezničar Sarajevo .

In the 2015/16 season he conceded only 21 goals in 31 games, the fewest of all regular goalkeepers in the season, whereby he did not concede a goal 15 times and helped Ferencváros to become champions for the first time since 2004 and 21 points ahead of previous year's champions Videoton FC reached, the highest point difference since the championship round was abolished in 2004. In addition, Ferencváros was able to defend the cup with a 1-0 win against local rivals Újpest Budapest .

National team

In 2012, Dibusz was part of the U-21 squad for the last four games in qualifying for the 2013 U-21 European Championship . He was not used, however, the goal guarded Péter Gulácsi , substitute goalkeeper at Liverpool FC . The Hungarians won the four games, but had no chance to qualify after their four defeats in the first four games.

In June 2014 he was invited to two friendlies for the senior national team for the first time, but was not used. On October 14, 2014, he played for the first time in the qualifying game for the Euro 2016 against the Färoer and played for 90 minutes in the 1-0 win. But this was his only competitive game so far. After that, he was only used three times in friendly games, where he was substituted twice in the second half.

On May 9, he was appointed to the provisional EM squad together with Péter Gulácsi, who is six months older and 14 years older goalkeeper oldie Gábor Király , and was considered for the final squad on May 31 without any further test matches. As one of two substitute goalkeepers, he was not used in the tournament.
