Ádám Kónya (born December 19, 1992 in Veszprém ) is a Hungarian cross-country skier .

Career

At the 2010 Junior World Championships in Hinterzarten, Kónya took 103rd place over 10 km classic and 79th place over 10 km freestyle at the 2011 Junior World Championships in Otepää . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 , he achieved 86th place over 15 km classic. In February 2012 he came in at the Junior World Championships in Erzurum on the 88th place over 10 km classic and on the 76th place in the sprint. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season he started in St. Ulrich am Pillersee in the Alpencup and finished 86th in the sprint. At the U23 World Championships in 2013 in Liberec he ran 79th place over 15 km freestyle and 68th place in sprint and at the U23 World Championships 2014 in Fiemme Valley , he took 70th place over 15 km classic and 68th place. Rank in the sprint. In the 2014/15 season he took 51st place over 15 km freestyle and 44th place in the sprint at the U23 World Championships 2015 in Almaty, and at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun, he finished 81st place over 15 km freestyle and 26th place Place together with Karoly Gombos in the team sprint. In the following season he reached the Slavic Cup with three top ten placements, including third place over 10 km classic in Štrbské Pleso , seventh place in the overall standings. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti , he achieved 61st place in the sprint and over 15 km classic. In February 2018 he ran at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang on 89th place over 15 km freestyle and 67th place in sprint.
