The Champions League of Darts 2018 is an invitation tournament in darts and was organized for the third time by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) from September 22nd to 23rd . The tournament was first played in the Brighton Center . The new Champions League should not be confused with the similar sounding Championship League Darts, which was organized by the PDC from 2008 to 2013.

The title went to Gary Anderson from Scotland , who won the final with 11: 4 legs against his compatriot Peter Wright .

format

The top 8 of the PDC Order of Merit took part in the tournament, which was played over a weekend, at the time after the World Matchplay of the same year. In two groups of four, each player competed first against each other from his group. The two group winners then met in the semifinals against the runners-up in the other group. The two winners of the semi-finals then played the overall winner of the tournament in the final.

All games were played in the best of legs mode. The group games took place in the mode best of 19 legs , in the semi-finals and the finals best of 21 legs was played.
