Álvaro González , full name Álvaro Fabián González Pintos , (born September 12, 1973 in Canelones ) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.79 meter tall offensive player González was a member of the Club Atlético Cerro team at the beginning of his career from 1992 to the end of 1997 . In 1998 he worked for CD Everton de Viña del Mar in Chile . In the following year he was in the ranks of the first division team Frontera Rivera . At the beginning of the year he moved to Bella Vista and stayed there until the end of 2001. In July 2002, UNAM Pumas signed him . For the Mexicans, he played 34 games and scored ten goals. In 2003, Dorados de Sinaloa was his employer, where he scored four hits in twelve missions. From 2004 to 2006 he played for Lagartos de Tabasco . For the club from Villahermosa he played 89 games and scored 48 times in the opposing goal. In 2006 he then began an engagement with Puebla FC until 2009 . In the 2007/08 and 2008/09 seasons 65 premier league appearances with 24 personal goalscoring were recorded for him. In late June 2009 he joined Lobos de la BUAP on loan until the end of the year .
