Ángel Montoro Cabello (born April 10, 1989 in Toledo , Spain ) is a Spanish handball player .

The 2.13 m tall and 105 kg heavy right back player is under contract with the Spanish club Naturhouse La Rioja .

Ángel Montoro made his debut in the 2008/09 season in the Spanish ASOBAL league with Ademar León . As a replacement for László Nagy , the great FC Barcelona signed the left-hander in the summer of 2012 for six years. After Barcelona signed Kiril Lazarov from the insolvent BM Atlético Madrid in 2013 , Montoro was loaned to the French club Fenix ​​Toulouse Handball . In January 2014 he moved to Wisła Płock and signed until 2016. He then joined the Spanish first division club Naturhouse La Rioja .
