Åke Gabriel Bonnier (born December 11, 1957 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish Lutheran theologian and bishop of the Skara diocese in the Church of Sweden .

Åke Bonnier belongs to the wealthy part of the Bonnier publishing family . His great-great-grandfather Albert Bonnier founded Albert Bonniers Förlag AB , which is now part of the Bonnier AB media group and which his grandfather Åke Bonnier the Elder (1886–1979) ran for a long time. His siblings Karl Otto Bonnier the Younger and Eva Bonnier hold leading positions in the publishing group, but Åke Bonnier knew early on that he wanted to be a pastor. After studying theology , Bonnier was ordained in Stockholm in 1984 . After several years as senior pastor in the church Lidingö Bonnier was established in September 2006 to the provost at the Sankt Nikolai kyrka , the cathedral of the Diocese of Stockholm elected.

On August 26, 2012, Bonnier was ordained bishop for the Diocese of Skara. He had prevailed in the bishopric election against the theology lecturer and pastor Staffan Grenstedt .

Bonnier was one of four clergymen who led the church service for the church wedding of the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria with Daniel Westling in September 2010 . He is a member of the Focolare Movement and the holder of the Papal Order of Gregory , which he received for his services to ecumenism .
