Åsunn Lyngedal

Åsunn Lyngedal (born July 17, 1968 in Porsanger ) is a Norwegian lawyer and politician of the social democratic Arbeiderpartiet (Ap). She has been a member of the Storting since 2017 .

Life

Lyngedal grew up in Lakselv , Klæbu , Ballangen and Fauske . She started studying law at Oslo University and graduated from Tromsø University in 1994 . She then worked in various positions as a lawyer, initially in the office of the later Minister of Justice, Knut Storberget . Between 1999 and 2006 she worked for the municipality of Narvik , then until 2011 as managing director of the Narvik Business Association.

In the 2017 general election , she entered the Norwegian national parliament in Storting for the first time . There she represents the constituency of Nordland . She was a member of the Finance Committee until October 2019, after which she switched to the Economic Committee.
